• You may have seen the NSPIRES email from NASA Grants policy about Grant Notice 24-01 referring to new guidance documents and new requirements starting on October 1, 2024, including changes to Biosketches and Current and Pending. You need not make any change to how you prepare your proposals to this program element due in early October. For proposals from non-governmental organizations that are selected for award, the NASA Shared Services Center will contact you asking for updated information. • NOTICE: Amended July 3, 2024. This amendment presents a new program element in ROSES-2024. Mandatory NOIs are due August 19, 2024, and proposals are due October 2, 2024. The S/T/M Section of proposals is limited to ten pages. This program requires a Notice of Intent (NOI). Proposals that are not preceded by the mandatory NOI will be returned without review. No feedback will be provided in response to the NOI. See Section 3.1. Proposals submitted to this program will be evaluated using a dual-anonymous peer review process. See Section 3.3 and the associated "Guidelines for Anonymous Proposals" document under "Other Documents" on the NSPIRES page for this program element. Both proposals and NOIs must be anonymized. Important information for proposers, including the Proposal Information Package (PIP) and a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) will be provided under "Other documents" on the right side of this NSPIRES page. Questions may be submitted by email to the point of contact identified in the summary table of key information no later than 30 days before the proposal deadline. Relevant questions and answers will be added to the FAQ, which will be revised as needed in a timely manner.

The document 'C.1 Planetary Science Research Program Overview' describes research activities within the NASA science division that is managing the specific proposal opportunity on this page and may impose requirements upon proposals submitted to this program element.
