  • The TESS - Cycle 1 program is NOT soliciting new proposals. Only those Principal Investigators who have been accepted for observations and who have received a request for budget information should submit a cover page in accordance with the instructions in that letter. No other submissions will be considered.
  • NOTICE: Amended on September 19, 2017. To give more time to proposers who are without power because of Hurricane Irma, this amendment delays the Phase-1 proposal due date for this program element to October 6, 2017. Phase-1 proposals are due by 4:30 PM Eastern time via the ARK/RPS web page (see subsection 2.2.1).
  • July 3, 2017. In program element D.11 the TESS Guest Investigator Program, the reference in Section 1.1 to detection of transiting exoplanets near the ecliptic poles (optimal for JWST follow-up) should have said "with periods up to 120 days." This has been corrected. The due dates remain unchanged. New text is in bold, deleted text is struck through.
  • NOTICE: Amended June 28, 2017. This Amendment releases final text for TESS Guest Investigator - Cycle 1, which replaces in its entirety the placeholder text, released with ROSES-17 in February. Phase-1 proposals are due by 4:30 pm Eastern time on September 29, 2017 via https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/ark/rps/.
  • The description of the specific proposal opportunity on this page is contained in the document 'D.11 Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite - Cycle 1'. This document is kept up to date and incorporates amendments, clarifications and corrections in a clearly identifiable manner.
  • ROSES-2017 is an omnibus NASA Research Announcement. It contains over 50 different proposal opportunities.
