  • You may have seen the NSPIRES email from NASA Grants policy about Grant Notice 24-01 referring to new guidance documents and new requirements starting on October 1, 2024, including changes to Biosketches and Current and Pending. You need not make any change to how you prepare your proposals to this program element due in early October. For proposals from non-governmental organizations that are selected for award, the NASA Shared Services Center will contact you asking for updated information. For more information see Grant Notice 24-01 at https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/gn-24-01-nasa-grant-policy-update.pdf Questions on the Grant Notice may be directed to HQ Grants Policy and Compliance at hq-dl-grants-policy-compliance@nasa.gov
  • NOTICE: Please note that the proposal opportunity is NOT linked to the previously submitted NOI. When starting a proposal, PIs will need to use the 'from solicitation' option. Carrying forward the NOI will not work.
  • Amended July 1, 2024. A new requirement has been added to distinguish proposed work from that associated with missions. Section 1.4 and Table D.18-1 have been updated to specify that if the proposal includes individuals associated with an active mission team, then the proposal must demonstrate that the proposed work does not overlap with any mission-related activities as part of the “Expertise and Resources Not Anonymized” document. New text is in bold. As a result of the addition of this new requirement, the due dates have been delayed: Mandatory NOIs are now due August 22, 2024, and proposals are due October 3, 2024. Also, the Planning start date is now March 2025.
  • Amended June 7, 2024. Section 2.7 now specifies that names must be omitted from the references and citations. This supersedes the default instructions in the "Guidelines for Anonymous Proposals". New text is in bold. The due dates remain unchanged: Mandatory NOIs are due July 15, 2024, and proposals are due August 22, 2024.
  • NOTICE: Amended April 1, 2024. This amendment releases the final text and due dates for this program element, which was TBD. Mandatory NOIs are due July 15, 2024, and proposals are due August 22, 2024. The Open Science and Data Management Plan is part of the 15-page S/T/M section of the proposal; see Section 2.6. This program will evaluate proposals using dual-anonymous peer review; see Section 2.7. No inclusion plan is requested.
  • The description of the specific proposal opportunity on this page is contained in the document 'D.18 Euclid General Investigator Program'. The document 'D.1 Astrophysics Research Program Overview' describes research activities within the NASA science division that is managing the specific proposal opportunity on this page and may impose requirements upon proposals submitted to this program element. The document 'Summary of Solicitation' describes the common requirements for all ROSES-2024 proposal opportunities. The document 'Table 1' contains the proposal check list from the Summary of Solicitation. The documents 'Table 2' and 'Table 3' contain the list of all proposal opportunities and their due dates, sorted by (full or Step-2) proposal due date or appendix number, respectively. All of these documents are kept up to date and incorporate amendments, clarifications, and corrections in a clearly identifiable manner.
