  • The NICER Guest Observer - Cycle 3 program is NOT soliciting new proposals. Only those Principal Investigators who have been accepted for observations and who have received a request for budget information should submit a cover page and proposal in accordance with the instructions in that letter.
  • NOTICE: Amended August 17, 2020. This Amendment releases final text for this program element. The due date for Phase-1 proposals has changed; Phase-1 proposals are due by 4:30pm Eastern Time November 17, 2020 (via ARK/RPS). Major changes since the last cycle include: Beginning in Cycle 3, all Phase-1 proposals submitted to the NICER Guest Observer Program will be evaluated following a dual-anonymous peer review process. Proposals must be prepared following the guidelines in Section 2.2.2 and in the associated "Guidelines for Anonymous Proposals" document; Clarification of language describing multi-year investigations and requests for joint NuSTAR time.
